Initial Visit:

When you call to make an appointment with our office, we highly recommend that you schedule a Comprehensive New Patient Exam. This appointment allows you to become familiar with us, and for us to have the opportunity to do a thorough exam as well as dental and medical histories. We have found that taking the time for this appointment actually saves our patients time and money in the long run. If we can work with you to develop a long-term plan for your dental health in the beginning of your treatment with us, we can more efficiently attain the highest quality dentistry and meet your dental goals. At this appointment, you will meet with either Dr. Jay Heim or Dr. Corey Johnson for 40-50 minutes. You may need to have your x-rays updated, or you can bring your records from your previous dentist. We use digital radiography technology for our diagnostic films. You will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns you have with the doctor and his team. If it is convenient for you, it is possible to schedule your first visit with one of our hygienists to have your teeth cleaned on the same day. If you wish to coordinate these two appointments, please let our staff know when you call.

Upon arriving at our office, our staff will greet you and try to make your visit as pleasant as possible. Please try to arrive ten minutes early to fill out patient information forms. You may also fill these forms out online ahead of time and email them to our office in order to streamline your visit. Your comfort and positive experience are of the utmost importance to us. Please let our staff know of any concerns or special requests you may have so that we can meet your needs.

Office Hours: Monday through Wednesday from 8:00am to 5:00pm Thursday from 7:00am to 5:00pm Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Confirmation: We confirm all of our appointments 24 to 48 hours in advance by phone, text, or email. We also send reminders for patients to schedule preventive hygiene care every six months by postcard, text, or e-mail. We understand that patients’ schedules are busy and may change. We request that you inform us 24 hours in advance if an appointment cannot be made.

Financial Policy:

We are a fee-for-service practice. Our patients pay the day of service, we will bill your insurance company directly on your behalf, and they will reimburse you directly.
The exception to this policy is for our patients with Delta Dental insurance. If you have coverage with Delta, you will pay only your portion the day of service, and we will bill Delta for the remainder. Please call our office to discuss this in detail.
For your convenience, we accept cash, checks and Visa, MasterCard and Discover card for payment. We offer financing through Care Credit (www.carecredit.com). Please feel free to call our office with any questions about this service.
